I was proud to have an article in the Gettysburg 150th Commemorative Edition of Gettysburg Experience.  My article was about the very challenging process of recovering hastily buried bodies on the battlefields of Gettysburg so they could be honorably interred in the National Cemetery:

It was a job description straight out of a nightmare:

He shall go upon the premises where the dead are buried….He shall open up the grave or trench where the dead are buried, and carefully take out the remains…
